A cardigan in pure alpaca

At the moment, this is the knitting project that I devote most of my time. It's a pattern from DROPS "strikkedesign" Nr. 88 (Modell 4-88). I decided to knit it in pure alpaca and not to use the Glitter with the Alpaca. The colour that I'm knitting in is best described as a dark turquise. The picture I took last night didn't come out too well, but it allows you to see the colour.

My favorite shawl

I think the shawl that my mother knitted for me last christmas deserves a post and a picture on the blog. It is knitted in Kid Seta and I love the colour which is called Robins Egg.

The colour is more true on the next picture. This shawl is so soft and nice to wear close to the skin. After she finished mine, she knitted one in babypink for Sarah and one in babyblue for Sisse. The most amazing thing is, that I just know there are no mistakes or errors in any of them.

Crocheted bib

Isn't it cute ? It's for Marie. This is the first one I crocheted. I also made one in brown with a little flower for Julies baby, Annika, and a striped one in brown and white for Lines baby, Villads. They are very easy and fast to make. The pattern is in Danish and can be found in the pattern book "Baby og småbørns-strik 2" by Løve Garn.

One year old sweater

The HP-sweater that is. I'm actually amazed it survived for so long. Johan has worn it allmost every day since I finished it a year ago. Here is the picture finally... (thanks to Alison and Jenn for hosting the knit-along)
I did promise Johan a HP-scarf next, but I decided to try and finish some of the other projects before buying more yarn. First of all there is my cardigan and then there is Wilmas purple sweater. I can't decide which one of them is the most important. My cardigan is knit in a colour that is highly fashionable this fall and winter (and probably not next year) and Wilma might outgrow her sweater before it is done. And of course there are many other projects that I'm keen to get started on. Can you recognize my dilemma ?

Knitting with Fru Christensen

So many projects so little time. Having three children aged 4 months, 4 years and 7 years, it tends to get difficult to get quality time with myself and my knitting projects. I have for a while wanted to share pictures of my ongoing and finished projects with other knit-bloggers and now I've created my own blog...just one problem left...no camera to take pictures of the knitting projects. Come to think of it, we might be the only family left with no digital camera, so it should be possible to borrow one. I can't wait to post my first picture. It will be a picture of the Harry Potter sweater I knitted for Johan last winter. I feel I owe that to Jen and Alison who hosted the knitalong last october. Well, I'll be of to borrow that camera...
